How do you cope with paranoia and hallucinations in addition to taking your meds?

I finally believe I have sz. I’m on 100mg haloperidol decanoate and I think it helps me see things a little more clearly.

But, I still feel paranoid and see people following me. What are your coping skills for these kinds of issues. It scares me and is hard to deal with

Everyone is different…
I hear demons all day and try not to fall in conversation with them while they attack me…
I also have tactiles sometimes…
It’s been more then 22 yrs and it’s still the same.
I cope with music, especially meditative spiritual.

I dont hear or see things normally. I get blurry vision and make crosses out of everything when im paranoid. I try to lay down when i get paranoid but most of the time that doesnt work. Nothing really works.

As for the times im not paranoid and just dealing with negative symptoms. I talk to my dad and lay on the back porch swing. I play video games. And i take naps in bed

I think your only hope if meds even Clozapine and 3 APs simulaneously fail is therapy.

I have to remove stress as much as possible… for example, working part time, trying to avoid watching news.etc
