I haven’t read all the posts. I’m not a feminist. I am for equal rights and treating people with respect regardless of gender. I like who ever stated they are humanist. Perhaps that should be the next movement

If I understand you right, I face the same dilemma. I just don’t know what to think.
Some women want to be objectified for whatever reason (money, they get a high off it, whatever) and I have really thought about that and I have no problem with that.
I had something new brought up to me unexpectedly today though, makeup. Even conservative businesses encourage some makeup (though a minimal amount) a lot of girls around here really go over board with it. It’s this bad:
That change easily describes a lot of girls at my school. One girl actually stopped wearing it for a little while after she took it off one day and didn’t recognize herself. They just want a guy who will take care of them.
For once I have no fixes. The only thing is it makes me sad.
