How did you get rid of your voices or at least reduce them?

For me. Medications helped a lot.

I take my meds but they dont help much
Medications for sure.
Olanzapine and Amisulpride mainly.
When will you stop smoking pot?
meds, cutting back on coffee. cutting back on beer and wine, not smoking weed obviously helped a great deal. I still get occasional voices, but nothing troubling.
I once thought the meds were a complete waste of time but I took them anyway just in case. The first time I noticed any effect from the meds was after two weeks on risperidone for the first time. I remember they turned very faint from being loud. I just thought the people doing it to me were making them that way. Because they also told me they would be stopping, which coincided with the time I started the risperidone. Anyway, they came back after a few weeks again but not as loud. I listened to them for the following few months then I went down to the doctors and got a med a ncrease and I haven’t heard them since. They told me again that they would be stopping coinciding with the med increase. So again I didn’t know what to think.They come back very faintly when I get stressed but they leave again when I’m relaxed. I still can’t believe their gone.

How many months have you been on antipsychotics for. Do you take them every day.
It takes much longer for some people for them to work
It’s clinically impossible. There has to be some drugs involved.

On top of antipsychotics, the Amyloban 3399 supplement is pretty effective at reducing voices.
I add those to a regimen of ample amounts of alkaline water, drops and minerals, which are healing my chronic headache nicely, and with the reduced brain inflammation is reduced symptoms.
Have they tried changing them? 
How long have you been ill ?
How long have you been on meds ?
There is usually a difference between before ad after meds
Take them regularly and try alternative therapy too
For several and they haven’t been doing the job

Medication is the only thing that gets rid or at least reduces the voices. Until that particular medicine stops working. I’m on Invega and Rexulti now which work well.
