laugh out loud 15
i broke the habit when i felt that most of the curse words referred to earth’s most beautiful beings. also, sometimes excessive use of curse words put me in an… uh… excited? state that makes me unproductive. lol, libido and bad pr0n history for the win there. o_0 lol lol. also, drzen, the wordplay in that picture is hilarious. lol
We say in our culture a On your tongue if you lie or curse again
I remember as a young kid, like 8, I made a “bad words club” and would run around cursing and causing trouble with the neighbor kids. Well after several years of hearing my dad curse my mom out until she cried I pretty much stopped using them…weirdly I curse OFTEN when I’m alone, I sometimes curse on the internet if I feel it’s really necessary and other words wouldn’t convey the feeling, but I still NEVER curse in person if others are around.
My mom used hot sauce on our tongues if we cussed. But, honestly, I didn’t cuss when I was little. I had an overwhelming desire to be good and cussing was seen as bad. As a teenager, I was devoted to God and didn’t use swear words because I believed it would grieve God.
Now I do use swear words. I don’t want to offend anyone or grieve God, but studies have actually shown that cuss words are the most effective for relieving stress. I don’t in just regular conversation though.
if your not supposed to when your young… then your supposed to be working on cutting back by the time its socially ok… and to seal this weird taboo… that places severe negativity on whole words for…what…basically the letters we used to make them instead of its entire list of possible contexts in which they are delivered…
swearers or saints we all have at least chuckled when the semingly sweet elder drops a tirade of mother loving f bombs with a word or 3 that start with b… yes the third word is bananas… anyway… either erase the words all together … or treat them like we do all other words…ever…free game but note your contexts…
so don’t tell me no in the morning “because their bad”… then again at lunch remind me their bad… then at dinner you sprinkle in some sentence enhancers for the added laugh these bad words give… the entire exercise is a waste of both of our time… we know those words can be used passionately for good or evil so lets stop the dance steps and work on the tune… it seems to be off…
lol I was editing and it got edited… and the only difference I notice is the weird mid paragraph paragraph spacing I had has been corrected… I did not notice that mistake so …thanks lol
i kind-of grew into the habit of not swearing because a lot of the communities (that I joined) frowned upon it. maybe if I had joined certain communities (sports, mgtow, forum.bodybuilding.com, army?) when younger, I’d be more okay with using swear words. i’m also paranoid how people would view me if I use them in certain environments.
I never used bad words because they were not acceptable in my workplace. But now that I don’t work I have nothing to hide so ■■■■the turkeys out there.
The easiest way is to not be around people who use them and not watch TV or movies or read books that have a lot of cursing. If you are around curse words a lot they are normalized and you are more likely to use them. You don’t necessarily have to of course, but it’s just easier not to use them if they aren’t part of your normal existence.
