I read that vraylar is going to be generic in 2029. Hopefully it will be a lot cheaper by then.

My vision got a little weird when I started wellbutrin but it went back to normal after a while. First few days it felt like what being on drugs must feel, but now I don’t notice anything either.

I’m pretty sure it made me paranoid when I was on it a few years back though. Maybe is a matter of coupling it with the right ap. It was the only antidepressant that ever helped in my case

You should try and get your doctor to prescribe atomoxetine or guanfacine. They both work on improving executive function but there not stimulants. Just present him with some reasons why you think its worth a try and can help your quality of life. You could say its “off label” since you dont have adhd but its target could indirectly improve your negative symptoms.

Sometimes dealing with doctors is like selling a product. Lol

I asked 3 drs about it they refused to prescribe it. they said i dont have adhd

Maybe try another one but dont say for adhd but to improve executive dysfunction. So its off label use.

I take 200mg Provigil (Modafinal) a day

It helps me wake up in an hour. It makes me more anxious and psychotic. I was completely lethargic for 4 hours after I would wake up without it. It kind of helps with negatives. My body has built a tolerance. It is now like a cup of coffee to me. I will try and take 3 days off and it will be more effective in getting me going.

Yeah I don’t have mania for more than a couple hours when I first started. I have experienced mania but not for more that 12hrs.

My Tricyclic antidepressant and AP sedated me so much. This drug was designed for people who had narcolepsy or something where they could not stay awake in the day. I heard Pilots also use Modafinal to stay awake and alert.

I took modafinil for about a month and i got into a 4 month long hypomania. I thought i was going to be a professional cartoonist and also a trap music rapper. I cant even sing or draw :rofl:. I kept trying to buy stuff but my bro and my gf were finding ways to get me the items that they had or knew someone had to avoid me going to buy them.

Then it turned into a mixed episode and psychosis for another 4 months. That was in 2021.

I tried ritalin before that but i was too irresponsible with it back then. Kept trying to get high so i threw it out.

Side affects: less severe (delusions of becoming trap rapper)

I’ve never known a sz pdoc to prescribe stimulants but my sister took antipsychotics for awhile and took a narcotic stimulant that was prescribed. She thought she was mentally ill for awhile, she has hypochondria.
