Well, it sounds like you should be on AP’s, but if you’re actually taking them is what I’m asking.

Sometimes, other meds can be prescribed to counteract the negative sexual side effects. If you can’t get it up or keep it up, they can give you viagra or cialis.
Lamictal can dramatically increase your sex drive if you can convince your pdoc to prescribe it to you.

All medications will not necessarily destroy your sex life. I’d bring this up as a concern the next time you speak with your pdoc. Certain meds are more likely than others to have negative sexual side effects.
In the end though, all you can do is try going on different med combinations to minimize your symptoms from sz while also keeping a minimum amount of negative side effects.
If I was in your shoes, I’d try taking the meds that your pdoc recommends. If afterwards you find that the side effects are intolerable than perhaps he can prescribe you something to help with it or change your medications up. But if you never try, you’ll never know what works and what doesn’t.

hey ever i am honest …i have sz that true fact…u shouldn’t embarrass me 4 not taking med.bipolar dude iz my good friend he knows what u know.i swear i take med within this month as a time being i am regularly visiting psychotherapist …i am not wrong here .i am pretty concerned what u saw .all the member in this forum are my good friend… my age is 28 so i feel like marrying or having girlfriend so my quest is to satisfy all the problem related to sexual like of sz on med.so i request u to take this by heart .if i offend u then i apologize .take care@ever

I’ve had sexual side effects from every med i have tried even seroquel and abilify. Its been 6 years now of this in a row and i had 2 years of it in my late teens. It sucks. I have no feelings in my private parts and no feelings of love or attraction to anyone. Well the pdoc team have a plan to take me off meds in a years time so lets just hope i don’t relapse (i think i probably will but fingers crossed)
