How can I rehabilitate myself to start working again?

How can I get better to start working again? I feel so weak on these meds. Im always trying to be as comfortable as possible. Im afraid of people too Im afraid they are always talking bad about me.

IDK, if you start working, start at part-time. Find a job you know you can do or at least have a fighting chance at being able to do it. Fear is my middle name; I just bite the bullet and work and do stuff to the best of my ability anyways.

Start slow, maybe find a vocational program that will get you ready to go back to work. Or even just a day program where you hang out and do stuff to keep busy to get you used to going somewhere and get used to being around people.

I think the thing is not to get better enough to work but most people sz it is rare to feel normal enough where you feel confident you can do all the things normies can do, it’s moreso about pushing through the pain to complete the goal, or stick with it till u reach a point where it’s become routine enough that at home discomfort and work discomfort level each other out to where both are bearable.

10 pushups at a time, or 10 situps or 10 squats at a time. Spread throughout the day. Whenever you’re up for it. They add up. No need to do 50 pushups in a row really. You can get 50 in by doing 5 sets of 10. Super easy.

I use caffeine pills
Work is only hard the first couple weeks anyway so bite the bullet until you are used to it

The same thing happens to me with respect to what you mention. Talk to your doctor and ask if he can reduce your antipsychotic dosage.

The meds make me weak and tired as well. Im also paranoid around people, I don’t trust most people’s motives.

  1. Honestly, most people don’t care about you and aren’t talking about you.
  2. Even if people do talk about you, so what? I don’t give a toss about what people say about me as I’ve got too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

Suggest writing down some goals to start with. Then work your way up to tolerating people and work. Part-time volunteer work is a great place to start.
