I’m leaning towards this, at least with one of them. One does little unintentional things that feed my insecurities, maybe if I can talk those things out, there won’t be any reason for the idea to occur in the first place.
I’m glad to hear this worked for you, gives me hope.
I’ll clear up this little delusion you’re having. You say one of your friends is a dude, while the other is a chick? And you’re beginning to think they’re the same person?
Well, one has a hot dog and the other has the bun…so they CAN’T be one and the same!!
Clear? Okay, now move on with things that matter in your life!
There have been times when I thought people in other towns could hear me talk. It went away after a while, but if you get too bad don’t be afraid to get in touch with your pdoc.
Your two friends have the most important thing in common, YOU,
and your friends with them, so yeah, it’s understandable that they seem to be the same person…
If it were me,
I think I’d make them interact with each other while I was in their presence,
either in person,
or if not possible,
a three way conference on the telephone.
maybe with one of them present, and the other on my speakerphone.
Or
on the computer at the same time in a chat, they couldn’t keep up the facade very long…
I try to work things out on my own before I talk to others (in person- such as family, pdocs) that way, I know if I work it out to my satisfaction, I’m not that far "Gone."
When my pdoc has to tell me that I’m psychotic, it’s too late for me, because I’m not going to believe her over my “delusion” anyway.
