The stopping of gabapentin hasn’t worked. I came off it to lose weight but I have left my bed so little since stopping I have actually put weight on.
Am in therapy, on an AD as well as seroquel. I react bad to propranolol. My dr doesn’t prescribe benzos so not sure what to do now.
Any suggestions my friends?
Maybe go back on Gabapentin? Why did you quit in the first place? I forget, sorry.
To try and lose weight. It is also not that effective for me anymore - was at first.
There are more gabas out there, probably best to discuss this with your pdoc or nurse.
Was thinking pregabalin. Think it might be expensive though. Will make an appointment.

If you only came off it to lose weight, then why not go back on it?
where do you get anxiety? i get it mostly in my tummy and its due to stress i’ve been told, i am constantly worked up even though i try and relax

If Gabapentin was working for you, why not give it another go.
I’m sure that you can try to manage your weight through a decent diet and some exercise.
If your mental health is not on track everything else seems to fall apart.

I had a relapse and ended up in the psych Hospital Involuntary once again.
This time I was there for a bit more than 3 weeks.
I was not taking my meds at the dose prescribed and I became increasingly more delusional and paranoid.
I am now court ordered for my case workers - counselors to help me manage my meds and my case workers are court ordered to visit me at my parents house at least 3 times a week to help me overall and help me with transportation.
I am done with messing with my meds and I am going to be med compliant from now on.

Sorry you had a rough time, @Vertigo. I am glad your case workers will be able to help you out. Has there been any progress yet with your quest for housing?
It all ended well, it could have been a lot worse by the sounds of things. Glad to have you back wave.
