So, I’m cheap, but I’ve had amazing results with a good pair of earbuds with a line mic and these. They fit Little LED, me, and my partner who is 6’2" with a huge head. My partner wore them all the time while mowing the lawn with a pair of earbuds and didn’t need to blast the volume.

We have those ones for noise protection at home. But they do pinch my head after a long time.

I quit that loud factory job.
I know this is over your budget of $100, but these are the headphones that I bought for my husband, last year. They are noise cancelling, they don’t pinch your ears, the sound quality of music is AMAZING, and they are adjustable to fit your head just right while still feeling snug.

I use Sony Pulse 3D headset. You can also get Sony Gold Headset for cheaper, and it’s very hard to tell the difference between the two sound-quality-wise. They are about 80-100 dollars.
I have the Bose QC 35. I’m happy with them. You can probably find them on sale.
