Hazed by clothing

Today’s my laundry day. Our washer broke so I had to do my laundry next door. It’s got me thrown. I think, in this society, we are mostly all of us equally hazed by clothing.

I am hazed by washing at the moment. Last few washes although my coloured t shirts have come out clean(I’m a messy eater) there are still faint stains on my white boxers. Hadn’t really paid much attention to hard v soft water but it seems I’m in a hard water area and I need to use more tablets. Could it be I also need a new washer? If so I have no idea how to get rid of the current one and how to plumb a new washer in. It’s the kind of practical thing to flummox me and make my anxiety shoot up.

thank God Angie does the laundry. all I do is throw the clothes in the washer, darks and then a load of whites. but she adds clothes softener and stuff like that and the laundry smells soooo good. She’s a good woman for me and I try to help out but laundry is a big burden off my shoulders.

I lost the instructions to the washer ages ago. I just shove the clothes(coloured and white) into the washer with a couple of tablets and press the start button.

Been looking at new washers. Seems like all/most have electronic programme selectors. Do I need to go on a training course to use one I wonder?

I don’t have a washer right now. I take my clothes to a laundromat. It is mainly used by Mexicans and Blacks from the town. I used bleach today-Thought I was going to make holes in the clothes or have the colors run.
