We just got a new clothes washer in our apartment because the old one was busted. Somebody put about twelve pairs of heavy duty jeans in it, and, with the water these jeans soaked up, the washing machine couldn’t handle it. I checked to see if the washer was available because I needed to wash a lot of clothes, and the washing machine was stalled out with all these jeans in it with a bunch of water that didn’t drain out of the machine. I took four jeans out and wrung the water out of them the best I could and stuck them in the drier. I hope they’ll dry like that. We just got a brand new washing machine today, and in less than twelve hours it is already broken.
