Was Latuda good to you?
- It gave me akathesia or chest pain
- I didn’t have any muscular problems

I didn’t feel Latuda was helpful but it didn’t give me any side effects. I had trouble eating the 350 calories they asked me to take it with, tho, as they said it had to be absorbed with food.

Do you think it’s normally not as effective, or that it just wasn’t being absorbed?
It made me have restless legs syndrome and made me pace 12 hours a day. As much as I dont wanna say it invega is the only med that’s worked for me.
I took a 23 and me test and already had restless legs syndrome in my genetic test however

I didn’t feel it was effective. The only med that has ever really worked well for me was clozapine, and i had to stop that due to heart issues. So I’m on Cobenfy, which helps but it’s not as good as clozapine, and Haldol.

I didn’t like Latuda. I heard it’s better for weight though.

yes, a few years ago I took it made me extremely manic and mean and I would say hurtful things to my dad I didn’t mean too it was out of my character, and it was the med talking at the time

I took it for a couple years. It was pretty good. Controlled my symptoms. Sometimes I’d wake up after 3 hours of sleep and be wide awake, but that could have been the effexor I was taking at the same time. I’d try Latuda again if I had to switch APs.

For 18 months it was fine
Then I had a horrible reaction, quit cold turkey and ended up on the ward yet again

Lost lots of weight on it
But it didn’t work. It didn’t help with positive or negative symptoms in my case
Back on clozaril

I heard Latuda is agreeable with most people, but as I look into it, it really isn’t

Yeah clozaril is only effective medication for me. Latuda was useless for me
I’m not sure if Cobenfy is available yet in Canada , specifically Quebec
I’m on 80 mg of generic Latuda (lurasidone). It’s a good med, but I’m trying to taper down on it now that I’m on Cobenfy.

I’m on latuda now and find its very helpful. I don’t notice any side effects

It made me feel real funny and unsafe. I couldn’t sleep on it so had to take zopiclone.

Wait…latuda can cause chest pains? Is this common because i have them
It helped completely get rid of voices BUT it caused CRIPPLING anxiety
