Have you lost weight with metformin

I’m thinking of diabetic meds,I have melitus,and stopped my metformin bc of diarheia…
I don’t know if we have intrernist in health center.
If I go on glucophage xr 500,do you have expirience?

Thanks @shutterbug ,I just want to loose some weight.
I’m active,but the belly is annoying.
We don’t have muanjaro or ozempic

The only way I’ve been able to lose weight is by eating fewer calories. I measure, count, and/or weigh everything I consume.

I’m on 2,000 mg of Metformin a day

It’s frustrating. I’m not gaining but not losing right now. I am active each day. I hate plateaus.

I’m on Risperidone and olanzapine (Zyprexa). I have a big belly too.

But, it’s slowly getting smaller as I restrict calories

I’m on metformin and I lost some weight on it initially when I first started it decades ago.
It no longer makes me lose weight

surprisingly i gained weight on Metformin!!! so i stopped it. now i am on supplement and green coffee beverage which works well for me.

Same man. Plateaus are crazy, cause I do so much more now and eat so much better and still nothing, sure you’re the same

The body really hates to change for the better, we are like programmed to be fit for survival, not losing all the unwanted weight lol

Yeah. I have never eaten so many damn lentils in my life, I’ll tell you that.
