Have you hallucinated on Abilify .

Hi,

I hallucinated on 45 mg Abilify, rather vividly, saw pictures, talked to some people on the internet, a girl hallucinated on 5 mg, 17 years old . . . Met some other people it happened to . . Some of the stuff one sees in hallucinations can be quite scary, anyway met some people that hallucinated on Abilify, and were sent to the hospital . . . .

I’ve been looking at it, seems to be related to serotonin 2a receptor stuff, not really sure . . . . I hallucinated for 6 - 8 hours, on it, when I got 45 mg over 3 ½ weeks, the girl hallucinated for 12 hours, on 5 mg . . It’s a known side-effect, on the injection . . .

The serotonin 2a receptor is also where LSD works, but I’m not sure, do you know anything, need more info . . .

Thx, <3

Yes I hallucinated on different doses of Abilify.

Can I ask, what did you see, some people see nice LSD stuff, like this . .

One girl saw objects that weren’t there, and people . . . You can see anything on a serotonin 2a experience, some see scary, bad things . . . .

LSD has a Ki ( inhibition value ) for serotonin 2A of 2.9, Abilify has, in three different experiments 3.4, 4.7 or, 34, it’s HOW much is needed, to put the serotonin 2a receptor, to sleep, so lower means, you need less . . . Psilocin has 107.4, so you need more . . Gram for gram, it looks like Abilify is LSD . . .

Also, LSD has intrinsic activity ( how much signal is left, in serotonin ) of 12.7 %, at high dosages . . Abilify has 10 - 20 %, in research . . . Not sure, what it means . .

that is an awfully high dose.

maybe that is even why you are hallucinating, idk.

yes I had weird racing thoughts on it for a long time, not precisely hallucinations

I had psychosis, hypersexuality and addiction issues (compulsive shopping, binge eating and weed addiction) while using Abilify. I seriously think Abilify is like a street drug, it made me a junky. I switched to Latuda and those issues stopped. Now I am on Risperdal, best so far.
I lost over 100 000$ because of Abilify.

I and a user here submitted complaints against Abilify, forgot the link but here they say there was over 2600 Abilify lawsuits as of June 2019, it caused divorce for some:

I saw things like people and objects but I mainly heard different sounds like doorbells going off, knocking on doors, police sirens etc…

Please read, the above post, edited it . . .

Abilify looks to be similar, to LSD, which causes disinhibition, also . . . The numbers are in the above edited post . .

See above, Abilify has similar numbers, to LSD . .

Ki LSD 2.9 nM
Ki Abilify 3.4 - 4.7 nM

Intrinsic value ( effect )
IA LSD 12.7 %
IA Abilify 10 - 20 %

It’s in science, it basically says Abilify is, LSD, gram for gram, which explains why people see stuff, feel excited . . .

Some people never come ’ out ', of the hallucinations, we know that from LSD, it becomes permanent, not many, but it’s a big chance to take, also why don’t they tell people, it can do this . . . .

But then there are users here who are stable without side effects on Abilify. It greatly depends on the individual.

Yes, I hallucinated on 45 mg, another girl, did on 5 mg, she had done a little weed before, made her more ’ open ', to hallucinogenic experiences . . . :OO

If you are depressed, angry, watch a violent movie, you can get a ’ bad ’ hallucination, where what you see gets mixed together, with what is around you . . . Watch a happy movie, and you see balloons, nice animals, fun stuff . . . .

Watch a scary, violent movie, and you start hallucinating severed heads, corpses and, worse . . Some people commit suicide in that state, or attack their friends, because in hallucinations, they look like demons, or so . . LSD is dangerous, a class 1 narcotic, in America . . .

Do you think these Ki number and, intrinsic activity could be why, at least CHEMICALLY they are almost identical, in the serotonin 2a receptor, which also explains gambling, eating, hypersexuality . . . LSD, like most narcotics, make you lose inhibitions, self - control . . .

:open_mouth: :open_mouth:

ps. I wanted to stab a friend, in the eyes, with a large scissors, because we watched a violent, anime movie, with lots of blood, felt I HAD to do, went straight to the hospital, where the doctors gave me 45 mg, assumed it was the psychosis, delusions . . .

Normally, I’m not violent, just scared . . .

I’ve written this to the Danish FDA, that they’ve given people ’ similar to ’ LSD, since 2002-2003, for 18 years . . . It is my impression, that they are trying to cover this up, the police also said, it wasn’t a serious offense, not a criminal charge, when a company did that, I had no case . . . .

I’m confused . .

I mean, they haven’t written back, that they think this could be drug-related, or even seems serious, the FDA . . . .

in the uk where I am my cpn told me anything above 20mg only increases side effects. well that is in my psychiatric hospital anyways. for abilify

just sayin

I understand, if that’s the case, LSD can make you lose your temper, see violent images, intensify violent emotions . . . That’s sort of what it does, it takes what is already there, both inside you and, in the surroundings, and mix them together, whatever it is, if you watch a violent movie and, have violent emotions, at the same time, you could explode, go ’ ballistic ’ . . .

Also, disinhibition, towards any desired behavior, usually sex, or drinking . . .

Not doubting your experience but Abilify isn’t LSD and acts on different brain chemicals. Yes things like serotonin are linked but abilify is a dopamine agonist as I understand it and LSD is a catalyst biochemically. It’s a complicated thing but your wrong to equate one is the other. That is just poor science…

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen because other things may come into play but I think there’s some serious flaws in your argument. As you can understand this is a support site and street drugs pose a risk to this community. Abilify helps a lot of people here and I’m sure it would have come up if the link was so solid. People with psychotic disorders can hallucinate without LSD present and I’m not sure this is a suitable thing to share here. I think it’s a valid question to ask but it’s not appropriate to equate the two as one.
