I have got only once, that was when I was in Lisbon, Portugal in 1998, it was a rental car and it was a parking ticket, one man, Nelson, promised to watch the car while we had our dinner, but I suppose he did not. Other traffic tickets I have not got.

I “jumped the green” once, illegal u-turn through a field another time, and one for backing up on a road because I missed my turn. On the last one there was a cop writing a guy a ticket on the road I was gonna turn onto after backing up, he just waved me in and gave me a ticket too >_< I looked behind me before I did it, there was nobody and the road was straight and flat, I could see a very far way back. I’ve made it a point never to repeat any of these mistakes.
I suck at spotting unmarked cop cars.

Maybe one or two parking tickets, I’ve had a few speeding fines 
I’ve had a few from back in my university days
I got a speeding ticket one week after I got my drivers license in 1986, and then another speeding ticket in 1991. Those are my only two.
I am older now and I don’t feel the need to drive fast. I can think of lots of things I’d rather do with my money than pay a ticket and increased insurance!
I got a ticket for unsafe driving when I had an accident the summer of 2012

I got a warning once for speeding, and i still had to go to court over the expired tag that was on the car, but somehow they didn’t fine me for it
In about 35 years of driving I’ve got about 13 or 14; most of them came in my first two years of driving when I was a teenager. I got pulled over the first time I drove in my first car right after I got my license. I came to a stop sign near my house and did what we call a “California roll”. It’s when you come to a stop sign and you slow down but you never completely stop and you roll right through it. It’s illegal but you see people doing it all the time.
The funny thing was that it was a female cop and this was the seventies when female cops were rare back then, at least where I live in California. Most of my tickets were for speeding but I got at least two for possession of marijuana.

When I use to drive I got many now I don’t drive so no headache
I’ve been driving for about 39 years, so yes I have had my share of tickets.
This was years ago.
I got one 3 years ago because I slid on ice into the car in front of me. Sucks! My car insurance is so expensive because of it.

4 flat tires
5 Middle fingers

I’ve had 1 speeding ticket, 1 reckless driving ticket, and 2 parking tickets. That’s not too bad for 29 years of driving. But I did get arrested for the first time ever last Thursday.

Whatcha do to get arrested?
I violated a restraining order. I didn’t know I was doing it, tho. I had to put up $1000 bail and am having to wear an ankle monitor until at least Sept 4, when I have court. I hope they go light on me since I’m a first-time offender and ignorance caused the infraction. Jail was scary.
