Oh yeah and Hyacinth from “keeping up appearences” (Mrs Bucket / Bouquet lol), Patricia Routledge, lives along the road in chichester. She is of course in her 90’s now - but is very active locally.

If I could meet anyone living or dead it’d be Alex Trebek. That guy’s probably hella smart. He evidently was also a humanitarian. I think he worked with World Vision (a charity)

@Naarai my grandmother used to like watching British sitcoms. Very different type of humor than American sitcoms. I used to watch them Saturdays on public television.

My grandmother took me to an Irish Rovers concert when I was like, five. We met Willy, the lead singer. He told her what a beautiful granddaughter she had.

I was at the grocery and there was this big girl there with a really deep voice and I thought that poor girl probably gets teased a lot.
She looked to be about 14. Her baby sister was in the shopping cart and she was paying a lot of attention to the baby.
So I said to her “You’re a good big sis” to which she replied “I’m a boy”. Omg

I once met an american gospel singer.
My local church invited her. I don’t know who she was, but the church folks were very excited to have her.
My mother taught me to say “may I have your autograph, please?” And she smiled and gave it to me.
She had this peace to her, I wish I knew who she was.
She was african-american and a little round, I think her dress was lilac.
I was only 7 years old.
