I have in Hawaii. Man that stuff his scary as heck. You have to hold your breath for a really long time when the wave crashes down on you. I don’t understand how the people who surf 80 feet waves do it.
I have been taken under by waves smaller than that. I would be too scared of drowning.
When I was a teenager and young adult I could hold my breath for s really long time. But that doesn’t mean I’d want to die to a huge wave! I could have done it. But now at this point in my life even if I could I wouldn’t want to!
Have you ever seen these waves @Lenny
Yes I do! It’s has(or had I don’t follow surf that much) the Guinness world record for biggest wave surfed… The guy who surfed it is Garret McNamara and nowadays he is sponsored by Mercedes Benz…
He surfed a 100 ft wave! He’s super brave! He explains why the waves get so big there
ive been to a resort with a pool that makes 9 foot waves, they were huge to me because i was so young, it felt like i was being thrown under the water by the wave. i wouldnt know what to do in giant ocean waves even bigger than that
