Has anybody been to Hawii or any other place that has huge waves?
There is a break not far from my house that gets 30 - 40 ft waves some times. You need someone with a jetski to surf it though as it is quite close to some rocks. I see 20 ft surf all the time in the Winter. Heres some pics of the spot about a 5 min drive from my house.

Dang that is a big wave. What is it like in person to see these big waves?

Kind of amazing but terrifying at the same time. My town is kind of famous for having the best surf in the UK, we get people here from all over the world all the time.
