Im going to start by saying that I have a spotless driving record. I have never been in an accident while I was driving. The closest thing I have ever had to an accident was when roads were iced up on this steep hill when I was like 17 and I gently slid down the hill and tapped a tree.
I have , however, twice been in accidents while other people were driving.
The most significant being when I was going on lunch break when I was 17 or 18 with a coworker who had no seatbelts in his jeep. He applied his brakes and went into the oncoming traffic lane and this mack truck hit us and spun us in a semi circle so we were facing the other way. I went unconscious and woke up to me hanging halfway out the passenger side window , holding myself in with my hands. I only ended up with a ear that need stitched and an extemely bruised and battered body. I probably had a mild concussion.
I wasn’t watching my rear view mirror, a Mack truck slammed into me. I was all over the highway and landed into a ditch. I wasn’t really hurt. My car was totaled.
I got in a bad wreck that totaled my car. Someone slammed on their breaks in a 45 mph and I hit the back of them. Ended up with a ticket. My Grandpa used his tractor to unsmash my car and I drove it around for another 6 months with the hood wired shut
first car wreck was when my mom was driving us and someone pulled out in front of us from a mailbox on the side of the road…wasn’t hurt…
then i rammed a truck from behind once when there was a rain storm and they were parked on the highway saying goodbye to a bunch of ppl…it was either hit the truck or hit the ppl talking to the truck…totalled my truck…boy was I mad. turned out it was my fault too…
I’ve been in several accidents, none of them my fault. The worst one was when a crackhead ran thru a red light and t-boned me as I was turning at a green arrow. He totaled the car i was driving and had no insurance…he got an ambulance ride to the hospital and I got to walk a few miles home (this was before cell phones).
No…my insurance paid out. That bum experienced zero consequences from it and MY insurance went up next time it was due. The guy was a bum who was high on crack when he hit me.
Yeah, when me and my friend were 14 his older sister eloped to Las Vegas to get married. She had an old 1962 Dodge Dart she had bought for a $100 and she left the keys so my friend stole her keys and we went driving all over the different local cities. We took turns driving and we had our little adventures. In the late afternoon my friend was driving in our own neighborhood and he took a turn onto our street too fast and lost control and we slammed head on into a light pole. People heard the noise and all these people came pouring out of their houses. We just got out and ran. We ended up at my friends house and his mouth was all bloody. It was an old car with no seat belts and a hard plastic steering wheel and my friends face slammed into the steering wheel and knocked out some teeth.
I thought I was alright but he called his dad at work and he came and picked him up and took him to the hospital. I went home and waited and sure enough about twenty minutes later I heard heavy footsteps on the stairs and then a loud knocking. My mom answered the door and it was two cops. They came in and they told my mom what happened and said if they wanted to they could get us for hit and run but they decided to do nothing. My mom was pissed at me and gave me a talking to.
Epilogue: my friend knocked out his four front teeth and the next day my neck hurt because the car had no headrests either and my mom took me to the doctor and I had whiplash which I don’t think is even a thing anymore because all cars have headrests. The car was totaled and when his newly wedded sister got back we had to tell her we had totaled her car. She didn’t even make us pay for it.
When I was 17 I had my first car and I was working at a gas station pumping gas and I went home for lunch and about ten minutes from my house I took a turn and some guy t-boned me. It totaled my car but I wasn’t hurt at all.
I’ve been in lots of car accidents. Lots of them my fault. I haven’t driven in ten years now and it’s a relief. My autism affects me in such a way that it’s hard for me to drive.
Yeah was a passenger and got t boned by a pickup truck. My head went through the side window. Had to get a small piece of glass surgically removed from the side of my face.
My mom crashed into a tree, when I was 1 year old. I got a concussion. Two different times, I crashed into a car in front of me, on the freeway. Once was when I was like 17 and the other time was when I was like 19. I’ve had a few bumper bumps, too. But I haven’t had anything happen within the last 6 years.
Edit: By bumper bumps, I mean like what happens when you’re backing up, like out of a parking space, and bump another car.
