When I first got sick I was in the ER waiting for a bed in a psych hospital. I believed God was commanding me to choose to live or die. No half hearted attempts. There was a cop with his back to me half way down the hallway. I creeped up behind him and tried to take his gun. I wrestled with him and another cop. They hand cuffed me and took me back to my room and put me in restraints. I was charged with assault on a police officer. I hallucinated for hours. I ended up going to the state hospital. When I went to court a month later I got off easy with PreTrial Intetervention. After going to probation for a few years the arrest was expunged. So on a background check I was clean. I was really lucky.

@SunGirl I am sorry you had to go through thatā¦the cops that escorted me to the hospitals always put the cuffs on tightā¦did they put them on too tight? I bet they didā¦they probably acted angryā¦police donāt understand mental illness.

Actually they were real nice. I donāt remember the cuffs being tight. I heard them talking in the hallway saying I donāt belong in jail I belong in a hospital. A female cop came in to check on me. She was real nice. She asked if I was bipolar and I didnāt know what I was so I said yes. After the cops left I could see her down the hallway for hours. I kept calling her buy I donāt think she was really there. It was so chaotic when I first got sick.

Iām o kā¦kind of a poor Christmas for us this season but at least we can afford fancy food. Iām happy.

I was walking in the middle of a street filled with heavy traffic. And i.saw a police car. I started running off the street and the police car drove on the pavement to catch me. I gave up. They put me into a police car even let me sit on the front seat. There were alot of buttons. I pushed one and the sirenes went on. It was cool. But i didnt get arrested. They took me to a mental clinic .
I know what you mean. Iām poor myself. But Iām good. Iām engaged and my fiancĆ© is living with me and my mom.
A lot of people left the forum but there are a lot of new people so thatās cool. There are only a few of us from the original forum.

I spent a month in jail. Was arrested several times. All for driving infractions.
