Do any of you get arrested I got arrested 10 years ago but that was the only time I went off my meds when I first started taking them and went crazier than if I was not on them

I’ve had run ins with the police but I’ve never been arrested. When I was talking to the police that was long before I had manifested sz symptoms.
I have been arrested a couple times in my life before I was ill…I was “escorted” by the police to two different hospitals once…the cuffs were always put on way too tight and I will never forget how painful it was.
id have to count it’s less than 10 more than 5. although I don’t really have a criminal record as all the charges we’re petty and were dropped. nothing they would waste time paying a jury to hear.
one of the doctors in the hospital told me “you don’t appear to be criminal” that was a relief.
most of my trouble came from hitchhiking and exploring the place. you get arrested for exploring is what I learned. it made resentful of police for awhile but I’m getting over it. I’m much smarter about not calling attention to myself and staying out of trouble, even if that means I can’t “roam free”
A few years back before i was diagnosed - i swung at a couple of policeman and got 3 months in prison because i concussed one of them. I truly believe i was psychotic at the time. Was the worse 3 months of my life. Never been proud of that and have behaved ever since,

I’ve been arrested a few times as a juvenile and once because of the sz 2 years ago. Been pretty good sense the last encounter
no i had half a brick in my hand at the time.

I had a warrant out for my arrest once. For a “failure to appear” over a measly unpaid speeding ticker. I went to the jail one morning and turned myself in and spent a day in jail.
yeah I had a phase where I wouldn’t step into a court room unless I was forced. my strategy was ignore it and it will go away…and it kinda worked…my case was too petty
all I got was a “failure to appear” but nothing really became of that.
I walked up and down the street everyday in small town America and the cops never brought me in…I guess they had other things going on
