Have someone had vivid dreams on Seroquel

Seroquel didn’t suit me at all. I had vivid nightmares on it too.

I take Seroquel and have nightmares. Meds that have antagonism to alpha receptors give nightmares.

I did not have nightmares on seroquel, but I did need naps everyday and I gained tons of weight really fast on it. Not everyone does though. I figure it’s worth it to try things to see if they’ll work for you or not since every person is different

I had horrible nightmares while on Seroquel but I fell into deep psychosis while on it (so the nightmares could be a part of the psychosis). so it did not help me at all. my pdoc said changing my medication from Seroquel to another AP would be “hard” so they prescribed me a higher and higher dose. they also made me take half of my dose in the morning which led to me falling back asleep after taking my morning meds. when I was admitted to psychiatric hospital care my medication was finally changed. I also gained a lot of weight on Seroquel and very fast. so I have no very good experiences with it, but everybody’s different. my nightmares were the type that they made me feel horrible all day long, long after waking up. sometimes I felt physically sick to my stomach.

Maybe dosage was too low, I take 200mg.

I used seroquel a couple of years ago. I had bad nightmares on it. In fact I haven’t had such a bad nightmare since. I can even still partially remember the nightmare. Usually I never remember dreams.

I just started out on Seroquel and I’m finding out that the lower the dose the more sedating it becomes.
I started off at 6mg then 12.5mg for a few days and it literally knocked me out at these small doses.
I’m now on 25mg and it’s not as sedating anymore.
My doctor will probably increase my dose some more eventually.
My dreams are bizarre on Seroquel but it’s nothing new for me.

i take 50 mg seroquel solely for insomnia, i sleep, i have vivid dreams but not nightmares

i dont dream at all on seroquel.

i take too much in my night meds.

Yes it gave me horrifying twilight nightmares and sleep paralysis. Really horrifying stuff that convinced me I was in hell.

It also gave me a mean appetite, but to be fair Zyprexa does that too.

yes I always have vivid dreams, I’m currently on 400mg of Seroquel. but i actually prefer that to unmedicated sleep, in which i often have lucid dreams that lead into sleep paralysis. so I’m staying on Seroquel

Oh shitt…
I’m now experiencing hypnagogic hallucinations on Seroquel.
As I’m falling asleep I’m hearing dogs barking, crashing sounds (someone falling) loud booms, my name being called out, etc…
My paranoia is also returning
