Seroquel Hallucinations

Whenever I take Seroquel, I get auditory hallucinations and increased visuals. I also become more fearful and have to turn on the TV to sleep. It’s weird because it’s supposed to be an antipsychotic. I just tolerate these effects because I fall asleep shortly after, because it is effective in that aspect. Anyone else get something like this?

Seroquel gave me powerful falling-asleep hallucinations that went away when I switched to a different antipsychotic. It also made me get up at 3 in the morning starving and I would eat out of the fridge and go back to bed.

Sounds similar to what I’m experiencing. It doesn’t affect my appetite though. It knocks me out cold for 12 hours.

I did notice when I took seroquel that I had more night hallucinations yes. Plus the unbearable akathisia and palpitations and feeling panic because I’m stuck in my body. That med didn’t help me and side effects awful

Sounds like it was a bad med for you. It doesn’t give me akathisia. I do get heart palpitations on it if I take more than 300mg. My heart rate also rises to 120 for a few hours if I take 400mg or more.

I met a guy in the psych ward who took 800mg every night. I have no idea how someone could tolerate that dosage.

Also another weird thing about Seroquel is some people use it recreationally. I have no idea why, it’s not a pleasant experience.

When I was on Seroquel I would get these vivid visual hallucinations just before the med knocked me out.
It was like I was dreaming but I was awake.

Ghost like halo gram type “bodies” floating about my room at night.

Very strange

For me my vision becomes really wavy and I see a grid of blue dots on the wall.

And as for the auditory, I hear a woman’s voice talking to me that sounds like a vampire, demon, or something but I can’t make out what they are saying. Also I hear music coming from my AC unit that isn’t a song I’ve ever heard.
