So today is thorsday and I’ve got a depot appointment for Clopixol 500 mgs depot. I’m going to call the nursing center to say to them that the Seroquel IR 800 mgs perform so well on my psychosis that I no longer need the depot

Best wishes, but maybe have a back up plan if things don’t work out. Don’t be afraid to call somebody if you’re getting in trouble.

I want to thank you all for your great support. I really appreciate you all. And thank you all for your feed back.
This morning I was called up by the nursing clinic that was very surprised over the decision to stop the meds. And some minutes later I was contacted by the treatment team and she warned me that if I didn’t take the injection I was heading for a disaster. The I talked to a good friend who convinced me that it would be best to go for the injection so that I did.
Now background data.
10 years ago I was on 300 mg Clopixol depot pr week and 30 mgs Clopixol pills as needed and besides of that I was on 240 mgs Ziprasidone.
I was that one patient who was on the highest dose of Clopixol ever pescriped to a patient without a treatment order. If you converted the dose of Clopixol to Haldol dose you would not be able to find anyone on this forum that was at that much.
So the dose I take seems large for most of you but I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to go lower.
And to me my dose seem rather low to me.
I felt miserable after quitting the Geodon one year ago but it was every moment of suffering worth because I regained my ability to sleep.
So I’m very happy with my 500 mg Clopixol every 3 week.
And my great 800 mg Seroquel by mouth
None of the meds do me any harm.
The only side effect the meds is causing is sexual dysfunctioning but I thing thats a cheap price to pay.

@columbus I’m so glad you figured out what is best for you and had a good talk with your treatment team. I think you made a very wise decision. I understand the struggle but I really think that you made the best decision. Good work!

lucky I am ashamed of myself because was such a bad role model for all of you. I just got some
Anosognosia the other night because I felt so well on my meds. So now I comply with my meds again.

Do not feel bad!!! We all feel that way sometimes about medication I truly believe! You have nothing to be ashamed about or to feel bad about.
I’m glad you feel good on your current medications. That’s great news!
