Have anyone recovered completely from your condition?

I always relapse into my delusions now and then, but I have enough experience with it now that I don’t go completely off the rails. I just ride the wave and know that this feeling won’t last forever, so just enjoy the moment.

Recovered from positive symptoms but not negative symptoms.

I have completely recovered as far as positive symptoms go. No more delusions and paranoia. I still have negative symptoms though.

My delusions are like similar to ocd at this point. Nope haven’t completely recovered. But I think I have more than your average schizophrenic bear :bear:

I have completely recovered from both positive and negative symptoms of sza. Well, positive more so than negative. But I have to take Risperdal Consta, Geodon, Seroquel, and Celexa to stay sane.

Schizophrenia you can overcome being weird how ever is permanent sorry to say but your belief system doesn’t extend exactly from schizophrenia therefore it is harder to accept that you’re going to be different

batman, recover means recovering,

I don’t know if I would use the word “recovered”, as a few years ago my meds stopped working and I became psychotic again, but I found new meds and my psychosis is in complete remission now.

What is your OCD Tupac? I am curious cause I got none just Schizo thoughts. I am on meds as well but still relapse.

I don’t think I’m the chosen one but my mind goes there in an obsessive and compulsive way anyways. I’m easily able to reason with it but it’s just the way I think now it’s engrained in me

I also count tiles on floors and light poles on the side of the road in intervals of 3,12 and 15.

I also have Grandiose delution that I am being monitored by hidden cameras, and people hijack my Sitcoms laugh track and the track is live:S

I have more delusions than that but too many to list. I am more sane at the moment thought after a psycothic trip around 3 days long.

Not by any stretch, but my functioning is very high despite this.

My main problem has been meds not working for me.

It took 7 switches to find one that does work best - Amisulpride

However, things have deteriorated recently, and it seems to not be having the same effect

If I have another psychotic episode it would kill my business off dead. I would lose my drivers license again

Just try to control your actions, like me, I still think wrongly but don’t act on my every impulse because I know I am not gonna come out of it good. And you always land before you gonna relapse again so you just have to wait it out.

Ive recovered but f i went off meds id probably become psychotic again

@Jonnybegood Funny you mention counting. Earlier today I was out for a walk, and counted the number of steps I took. I do this a lot, with numbers like 7, 17 and 33 jumping out at me.

I’ve never been diagnosed with it, but I’m pretty sure that’s OCD

Interesting you do prime numbers

I liked 12 because it was the lowest number with so many common denominator.

It was 3x4=12+3 for good luck =15

When I was a kid at around ten I developed a habit of counting the syllables and letters in my sentences. If it the syllables was divisible into the letters it was a “perfect sentence”. I would adjust my sentences to make em perfect as I speak or in my head.

It really was crazy and did a number on my MH.
