I know who Johnny Depp is. I haven’t really heard of Heard, pardon the pun. I suppose I’ll have to Google her. I really don’t care what celebrities do.

This is the typical thing people who have no idea say about those in abusive relationships.
There are a lot of reasons why. Usually the abuser wants to keep the person they are abusing under control. The abused believes they have no options, that no one will believe them, that they deserve the abuse, and more.
It is just a quick google search on this topic to find plenty of articles on why.

I know. I believed I didn’t have have any choices. I never felt like I deserved it though.

Well I’m. Not one of those people because I have been in an abusive relationship.
