I have to take zyprexa to sit still i was wondering if anyone tried the new weightloss pills and shots with that med because im starting to feel the intense hunger cravings again

Zyprexa is one of the few APs I have tried. I didn’t take that very long and my doctor said it wasn’t working and switched me to Geodon. For years that didn’t work either so I don’t know why he kept me on that one but I have been on it for about 16 years now.
I don’t remember hunger cravings or gaining any weight with it though
I have only tried Zyprexa Geodon and Latuda but have been shot up with Haldol a few times in the hospital.
Let me know if the weight loss drug works. If it’s prescription I may try it. I have had bad luck with supplements and stay away from them.
No telling what’s in that stuff.
Yeah zyprexa is the only medication working. Ive been on 8 medicines this one works i might need something not to feel tortured with intense hunger however. Maybe those side effects finders needed an app to keep track of the patients from afar instead only of waiting til they check in at the facility. Like a side effect log would be great
I have a lot of side effects with Geodon but I stayed skinny on it. When I started taking Latuda I put on weight but I stopped taking it about two weeks ago.
I was hoping I would lose the weight now. I still get up several times in the middle of the night to eat a snack. I thought when I quit the Latuda I would stop that but I didn’t. Maybe it’s just a habit now. I didn’t do that before Latuda.
But once they gave me Remeron for sleep. That really makes you hungry. You get out of bed to raid the refrigerator before you go to sleep and I didn’t find that it helped with sleep at all.
But different people have different side effects.
A tracker would be nice to have.
Hi @PikaTchu, I haven’t been on Zyprexa but did take Ozempic and felt very full on it. It did make me sick once and I felt quite uncomfortably full on it but it was worth it as I lost weight. Have been fasting 16/8 as well. Hippo

I’m not on Zyprexa but on clozapine and Vraylar, and I’m using the Saxenda injection, which is sort of like Ozempic…it helps me feel fuller and over 2 years I went from 298 lbs to 232 lbs currently. I also log and measure out my foods. I still have a lot of weight to lose but I love feeling smaller and buying new clothes.
I remember taking zyprexa. That was a weird time in my life. I’ve never had a combo of those two. Hugs
