No it just gave me severe itching and hyperthermia.
It messes with your thyroid.
The only supplement I am taking and is helping lower my blood pressure and my cholesterol is Metamucil fiber. All other supplements had bad side effects and no benefits. Even fish oil increased my hunger and my weight. I tried over 20 supplements.
i am not meaning niacin, it is common with itchy side effects and lowering blood cholesteral but i am meaning N- acetylcysteine, it is a NMDA receptor antagonist
I am talking about NAC. Itchiness is one of its side effects on Wikipedia. Look it up.

Don’t waste your time with supplements, try partial dopamine agonists like Abilify, Rexulti or Vraylar.
NAC made abilify less effective for me which was dangerous. There seems to be an interaction with NAC and abilify.
Actually NAC does change your Domanine. Schizophrenia is more abnormal, so good for some not others. Basically, there is some support in favor of amino acids. There was L-Serine, L-Methionine, Glycine, L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine(woops, dopamine). Findings indicate, then its plausible L-Tryptophan has different effect, such as Serotonin. Good to know about Methyl Folate, or Methyl B-12, then. Otherwise GABA is represented such as Theanine, and Valerian. Helps to know more about these. There are some indications of alterate contrary choices like choices are hot and cold.
