I did knitting for a while and made some very dodgy scarves. I quit because I was sick of making scarves and didn’t want to learn anymore about knitting and wasn’t particularly good at it

Hey could you pm me?

I knit socks. That’s all I can knit. And scarves. I find it very therapeutic and calming. Helps with my adhd.

@anon15119022 I don’t think I could ever quit knitting or crochet. I’m in too deep lol. I love it deeply!!

I wish i could get in to it but i find it so hard

All the patterns i want to do are very difficult

Maybe you could try making something entirely different than you have done ever before.

Are you a member of Ravelry? I browse that glorious pattern website when I need inspiration. I usually end up with too many ideas.

Or maybe you need to just put your projects in time out for several days or a week or so and revisit them later on? This helps me too.

I hope this helps!!

Have you looked up videos on YouTube? I slow them down and watch until I understand the stitch.

I have all these ideas of making stuffed animals but i can never get the head right i end up reading wrong and it doesnt look right

Do you have local yarn shops in your neighborhood? In my experience, they almost always have very friendly people who would love to help teach, too. If you have this resource.

No unfortunately we do not. But my local church does knitting not crochet though

Whatever you do , don’t get rid of your yarn. You might want to come back to it at some point. I used to crochet and just got back into
It years on

Yeah I quit too because I wasn’t that good at it and couldn’t make much and no one to show me how to make more advanced stuff.
