If you were going to pick one of these books, which one would get?
I read a book a long time ago called the happiness trap. it was a book on Acceptance and commitment therapy. It was good.
We had ACT in the last psych ward i was in. I didn’t finish it but to be honest it didn’t feel like it helped me very much. Could be personal though cause most therapy doesn’t seem to have an effect on me.
I kind of feel the same way. But now that I’m reading about different kinds of therapy I’m understanding more about my difficulties.
yea maybe i should read more about it too. They didn’t really explain the therapy in the psych ward. They just went ahead with it and had to experience it, maybe some good explanation about it that my bugged brain can follow would have helped me too.
Existentialist Therapy was from the old days.
