I’m on meds although lately I find myself seeing silhouettes from the corner of my eyes. It’s in peripheral vision. It worries me about worsening. Does anyone have any experience with similar things? I’ve never really experienced visual hallucinations. It worries me.
I know it isn’t real. It feels like I see ghosts sometimes. It happens a little more than twice a week.
I’ve seen things out of the corner of my eye my whole life. I think all people see things from time to time. Keep aware of it, but I don’t think you need to worry yet. I’ve never experienced visual hallucinations either. maybe talk to your doctor about your meds and whether this might be a side effect.
I have this problem on and off, I dont really know why is that, I see siluets like for a fraction of a second. It dosent scare me… Are you scared of them?
They are usually harmless
Yes, I still have them on meds. I just interpret it as being stressed. Sometimes it can be confusing, but it’s not really a problem.
Thanks for the replies. No, I’m not scared of them. I guess it’s something common with schizophrenia. It worried me because I thought I could be worsening.
i have that, it was much much worse off meds
I saw a black cat today. You get used to it.
I do, I have that. I think everyone has that. My husband says he has it too and he’s not sz. I don’t think it means you’re getting worse. I think you’ll be ok.
I have done on and off.
But I prefer the special effects that I get when I have a migraine attack.
If watching TV, I start to notice that faces begin to have only one eye and the face also has other distortions.
If I look at a clock, I only see digits on the right hand side. Then comes the highly active rainbow effect.
The good news is that I don’t get a headache.
I used to see them before meds.
