I quit. But I switched to vaping.
i quit but mainly because nicotine was making me sick so i couldnt really continue and i only smoked and vaped for a few months mostly out of curiosity just wanting to try it
I quit over ten years ago.
maybe around twelve years ago or so.
I quit when I was living in Sweden and i had had voices for years but it was getting better .
I went from smoking a big packet to a little packet.
I still think cigarettes smell good.
My x boyfriend smokes and smoked inside while we were living together.
I liked the smell but it was bad for me too.
I went from owing a packet of smokes every pay and not affording milk to being able to afford milk and save up for my plane ticket to Australia all by myself.
Now I can afford agistment for my sacred neigh.
I could never afford it if I was still a smoker.
I read somewhere about putting a golden coin in a pot every smoke free day and every day you have smoked you put the butt and water in a pot beside it and ask which pot you want.
I think it takes determination and endurance.
Good wishes to you.
Champix/chantix. Worked a treat and didnāt even finish the course. Took away the craving and I just didnāt buy cigarettes again!
Iām down to six cigs a day. As long as I keep it that way Iām not too concerned. I tried wellbutrin with no success. I once quit for over 3 months by cold Turkey and listening to self hypnosis vids on YouTube.
I quit. By switching to juul. I know itās not really considered totally quit, but I am content. And feeling, and smelling, loads better.
Im going to buy a vape and give it ago dad quit after 40 years of smoking by vaping.
I quit 13 months ago by using nicotine gum. I was a heavy smoker at a pack and a half almost 2 packs a day.
I quit, but it took me about fifty tries to quit. When I wanted to quit I tried to arrange it so I would be quitting on a low stress day. I donāt know if that approach will work for other people. It could be that everyday stress would keep some peopleās off smoking. You just have to make up your mind that you will have to endure a little suffering when you try to quit, but it is worth it. Think of the money youāll save. Think of your health improving. I donāt know about nicotine patches and nicotine gum. You might try those.
I could quit for two months with a stop smoking medication. Now I vape and smoke tobacco. Yesterday I tried to quit. After a few hours I had taken the bus and went to the vaping store. Maybe I can get champix in june. Iām unable to quit, everytime quitting fails it drags me more down.
