I had mine pulled out this afternoon as is now very uncomfortable and sore. It was easy and nearly pain free when I had it pulled as they injected me. It’s going to be a dreadful 3/4 days until it heals. Does the discomfort get worse over the coming days. What’s your experiences with having a wisdom tooth out. I’m frying for a coffee but can’t drink anything hot.
Also the x-ray machine at dentist (I had to go to the city and have it done) malfunctioned (it was a fancy machine that spins around your head, and now my support worker says I have glow in the dark teeth.
I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time and i dont remember it being painful, was a long time ago tho.
Yea same here 366363636
I was in pain with a swollen face for a week. Looked like a pocket gopher.
Yes. They were impacted. It was a trippy experience

I only had 1 removed. That hurt a lot.
Yeah and now I’m a moron.
I had 1 removed and ended up with a dry socket. I was swollen for a week. The pain meds didn’t help hardly at all
had 2 molars pulled…won’t have to have my wisdom pulled out…they are deep.
I had one wisdom tooth pulled, and it wasn’t bad at all, but mine was not impacted or anything like that, didn’t have to be surgically removed either. I only got it pulled because it broke.
I had three removed. If you smoke or vape you could get dry socket and that’s painful. Turns out clove oil is what they treat you with when you have it. Works like a charm.
I had a couple of wisdom teeth pulled as a precaution by the veteran’s administration doctor. The dentist said that the army would pay for one major dental procedure for up to a year after you get out of the army. My wisdom teeth came right out without much pain, and they gave me a painkiller that took care of the pain after the surgery. That kind of thing varies from person to person.
I got all of mine taken out when I was 17. They were impacted so they had to be cut up into smaller pieces to be extracted. Very traumatic to the mouth. I was really sore for about 4 days. And less sore for maybe another 2. They gave me pain killers. OxyContin. So that helped quite a bit, before it wore off anyway. Ice packs on my cheeks helped quite a bit as well. I understand drugs of that nature might not be best for you, but I would still recommend the ice. Hopefully your pain doesn’t last as long as mine did!
Also try not to use straws! Dry socket is real and it’s painful! Wishing you a speedy recovery @bobbilly.
Yeah I actually had to have surgery as mine weren’t growing in correctly they were crushing my other teeth and I was afraid of the dentist so they put me out for it
Yes. All mine have been removed.
I had all four pulled at once at the dental college up in San Francisco. it took four, long hours and though it wasn’t necessarily painful it was extremely uncomfortable because the student doing the procedure kept using the the side of my mouth as a lever with the dental tool in order to chip out the little pieces of my teeth. My face was sore after the procedure and swelled up so I looked like a chipmunk with a walnut in each cheek. It was a bad experience and the only good thing about it was that since it was a student at the dental college it was free.
Dentist removed all 4 of mine but i was put to sleep. It was about 20 years ago so i cant really remember apart from it does heal quite fast.
Yea was not pleasant tbh
Took a lot of force to remove it
You will hopefully have better luck!
