Our trip to Texas, which was supposed to be from the 9th-13th, ended up being until the 16th because we had plane issues and drove back instead. It was a four day drive. I just wanted to say that I’m super happy I went. There was a lot of walking and peopling that really pushed me to my limits, plus riding in a car for so darned long. I normally medicate to get in a vehicle or go somewhere, but the whole trip, I avoided my benzo except at night. I’m happy to know that I can walk in an urgent situation and can ride in a car if I need to. It was also surprisingly easy to get up each day and get ready to go again. So I just wanted to share. The whole thing tested my limits, and I think I passed the test!

I won’t fly over bodies of water, so I’ll never make it to Scotland. We can be the “stay at home” club.

I’m pretty good on the road except for my bladder
I have to seriously stop drinking fluids like six hours before I’m gonna get on the road or else I have to stop for restroom breaks every 2-3 hours
