How do you tell if you’re hallucinating people?

Visual or audio? It is impossible to hear anything but your own thoughts. I have not had much experience with visual.

I’m worried about visual. He’s only ever outside. I think he’s one of my neighbors. I’m just not sure.

Like would he be outside every time or inside too.

Just like I’m not sure if I’m audible hearing knocks on my wall from neighbors.

So it’s be easy to tell the difference?

i think you need to try to ignore that, if that doesnt work then talk to your dr

Neighbors are common as a delusion group, I would talk to your pdoc about it.

I always thought if you’re not sure take a photo or ask someone you trust if they see them.

Hmm… I don’t hallucinate people, but maybe try and determine if they’re not interacting with the environment. Are they staring at you? Does the person you’re seeing belong in your current setting? Can you touch the person? Things like that.

i ask my freand if she see or hear it too
but when they are realistic (to see its rear with me) and i am alone, theres no chance to know

My hallucinations are see through if they appear in the real world. It’s veeeeery rare though. Usually just images in my head.
