I love to hear from you guys. This is exciting for an old lady like me.
How are things chordy ? What was the last movie you enjoyed ?
I haven’t watched a movie for years. But several years ago, “My Fair Lady” was on television and I watched that - all the way through, which is good going for me.
I always enjoy your posts chordy. Except when you’re sad, then I wish I could do something more then offer advice over the Internet…but I know you’re tough and you always make it through
I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you, @Anna. but I can’t say I’ll always make it through. People at my age have to think of the unavoidable end.
People in their 60’s think about their death once a month, in their70’s, once a week, in their 80’s, every day, and in their 90’s ALL THE TIME.
A spunky old lady. Being an older lady doesn’t have to have a negative connotation.
In some ways I am more awake to life than ever before, @77nick77
Well then I know you’ll keep fighting till the time comes!!
Gosh I already think about death all the time, old age is gonna be a blast I suppose
I have a sort of weird relationship with death. On one hand I have a pressing anxiety where I know I could die at any moment without having accomplished what I want to yet. So I feel a lot of pressure there. On the other hand I often find myself wishing something would kill me so I wouldn’t have to worry about any of it anymore.
ah well
Me too! Life gets pretty neat.
The way I heard it was “None of us are promised a tomorrow.” So it’s a good practice to live every day to the fullest.
I’m going to be 50 next year physically and about 25 mentally. I’ve decided to grow a beard so I’ll definetely look the part.
What style of beard? I tend to like beards on men.
Short and neat. I’ve bought an electric beard trimmer. I can have a maximum size of 0.4 inches (1 cm) for my beard.
