Has anyones restlessness gone away after taking haldol for awhile?
Hello everyone! Im currently taking haldol 100ml injection and was wondering if anyone else has been on the depot before and if their restlessness went away after being on the depot for awhile?
I’ve never been on Haldol, but I believe there are medications your doctor can give you to combat the akathesia (restlessness) you’re experiencing. Have you talked with them about it?
I was just put on a beta blocker, cant remember the name, to combat the restlessness and hopefully the muscle movements.
In the us cogentin can be prescribed. In the uk we get a med called procyclidine. Works pretty well

Yeah without my procyclidine I am constantly fidgeting

No, I just have akathisia and muscle movements from another AP.
