Is there anyone who was on prolixin that switched to Haldol. I’m on 15mg of prolixin and still hearing things so my doc is going to switch me to Haldol. I’m scared prolixin has been the only drug to make me feel normal and Idk if I wanna mess with that. Any thoughts on haldol???

Never been on Prollixin but I was switched to Haldol after Invega Sustenna. I did not have a good experience with it. It did really help with my positive symptoms so I can say that about it. I was on 10mg. But it made me feel like a Zombie. I couldn’t function normally on it. I know other people do well on it though.
If you can afford it, you should try a 2nd gen ap
I went from prolixin to haldol. Haldol works really well for me. I hear voices but not as much as I used to.
I’m on haldol as well, and I’m getting less voices on that med.
Haldol has been working well for me for over 10 years, but I’m on a low dose of 1mg. The side effects can be nasty at the higher doses. Go as low as you can and it may work well for you.
