Hair mousse

I have a horrible fear that if I ever use styling mousse in my hair that it will seep into my head and cause Alzheimers or make my already existing mental illnesses worse.

It’s made people annoyed and upset with me when attending fancy or formal events in the past

Any reason? Is there a specific ingredient? Do any other hair products affect you this way?

I’m curious, why do other people care whether or not you put mousse in your hair? It’s really none of their business.
Are you able to use other hair products such as gel or spray?

You could tell people you had an allergic reaction to it once so you’re scared to use it anymore.

That’s rude of them that they care so much about you using mousse in your hair. It seems so trivial!

Or they could find the root of the problem and attempt to overcome it instead of just lying about it and living with it forever.

Well I mean yeah but if someone is being a dick to them it might stop the person from continuing to be such a dick to them.

Ah. Yes. Short term that makes sense.

Mostly because I have curly hair and they want me to style and “make it look nice”.
I hate gels and sprays, the most I use is shampoo and conditioner.

I know realistically that it probably doesn’t do anything, but i can’t help but feel paranoid about it. I feel like the hair companies are lying to us to dumb us down and become complacent

You just got to figure that millions of people in the world have used mousse in their hair since the 80’s (maybe sooner) and I’ve never heard one word about it being dangerous. I actually wore that stuff in the eighties, lol. I thought I was pretty cool.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. A lot of people don’t put anything in their hair, me included. Not a big deal.

I get headaches. It’s a valid concern.
