I am so sorry @jukebox. I had to say goodbye to my dear cat Lola at the end of August. We were together for 16 years, and it hurts very much. Grieving is hard but it honors our loss and helps us to heal. Much love to you and Angie.

@anon1517417 16 years is a long time to have a cat and a dog…I just figured out that now I don’t have to worry about Phideaux dying anymore…it’s over…now just to fill the empty space…we still have two dogs left so there is some comfort in that…much love to you back…thank you friend.

So sorry for your loss. My last one made it to 15 and two weeks. She was still healthy but had bad hips and just couldn’t walk. They told me it was $6000 for new hips and not recommended for a 15 year old dog.
Love the spelling of your dogs name. That looks mighty Cajun.

Losing your Dog is so sad , I feel for you - My Little dog is 14 and she has a bad heart valve and i was told it could be weeks before she goes for the big sleep in the sky - But 2 months on she is still sat on my knee and enjoying her walks 
I feel your sadness & am thinking of you - Just remember the fun your dog had with you !
