Ha! Totally got the situation wrong

I returned a couple shirts at Kohl’s this morning. On the way out I bought a new watch. It was so peaceful I sat in my car in the parking lot afterwards drinking a Diet Coke. I couldn’t sit there forever so I decided to go to some nearby park to take a walk since it’s a nice day. I got lost on the way there and ended up at Jack-in-the-Box. I had a coupon for a free hamburger so I got a hamburger and a Coke. I went to the park but I couldn’t find parking and there were too many kids so I just said WTH and drove back to Kohl’s and parked. I parked on the side and while I was eating my hamburger I see a black SUV pull up about halfway to my door. I was sure it was a cop and I’m not really supposed to park here unless I’m going in but I figured I was just here a half hour ago and I spent $50 so I have an excuse to be here. And I figured I’m not doing drugs or causing trouble and for all the cop knows I’m going inside as soon as I finish my meal. So I relaxed and waited for the “cop” to get out and talk to me. I even took a few bites of my hamburger to show I was relaxed and wasn’t up to no good. The “cop” just sat there. Then I craned my neck and looked closer. It wasn’t a cop! Just some guy in an SUV. He was parked so weird and so close I figured he was up to no good and just trying to cause trouble for me. He sat there a few minutes than drove away. I figured it was just some as*hole looking for trouble and finished my meal. Then he came back! I figured he was just trying to bug me and I looked at him suspiciously. And then he looked at me and put on a pair of sunglasses. I just drank my Coke and glanced at him occasionally. Some middle aged man. He made me nervous but I put on false bravado and glared at him and looked at him out of the corner of my eye or ignored him. He sat parked to me with his engine running and I just waited for him to get tired of bothering me and leave. Well, after 5 minutes this I heard a woman’s voice. And some 30 year old woman with a bunch of packages opened his car door. He was just some 30 year old guy waiting for his wife while she shopped! All that drama was in my head. I just laughed to myself but I was a little bugged I let the guy get to me. I didn’t feel sorry for him, he had to have seen how nervous I was and must have got a kick out of it. But boy, that’s what not getting out enough can do to you!

Decided what? To leave? Or do something?

He parked super close to you. I would have had the same questioning reaction. Relax, Nick…you’re normal.

Oh man, that ■■■■ happens to me and my brain always goes weird places. I hate it. Glad it was alright in the end.
