Does anyone have problems with bowel movements either constipation or diarrhea? Does this have anything to do with the disorder?

I did till I started taking a probiotic, now I go once every morning when I wake up. It’s pretty good, go, and then take a shower and scrub.

Took about three weeks on the probiotic to get this way, won’t live without it from now on…

I get chronic constipation from risperidone. My doctor told me miralax is safe to take daily. I take half a cap because more causes diarrhea.

Im regular as clockwork. Coffee and a smoke gets me moving, minutes after getting out of bed.

If im constipated - a couple of pints of milk will do it. Im sure im slightly intolerant - and it will clear me out lol.

I went everyday for 2 months after I changed my diet and ate more fibre. I though it would become routine like that for the rest of my life. But it slowed down to once every two days now and I changed nothing.

You are lucky. I think we are on the same med too. Invega sustenna. I may try coffee.

Coffee, apples, roughage like salads with a vinegar and oil based dressing, nuts, prunes and probiotics. I’m always constipated. I’ve been that way my whole life. I go to the bathroom about once a month. My doc also told me I could take Miralax every day. If you put it in your coffee you better be close to the bathroom! Lol! TMI!

Nah my morning routine is to take a coffee with me into the bathroom and post on sz.com while enjoying that cup to the fullest.

I have not constipation Issues but rather do I go often especially in the morning when I drink my coffee. TMI??

I’ve been on Haldol, Geodon, Abilify, and now Zyprexa - all of them gave me constipation.

I take 2-4 Citrucel caplets a day and that makes me go once every two or three days. Still not ideal, but much better than once a week!

My Yorkie does not like to be looked at when he’s going to the bathroom. He will glance at me to make sure I’m not watching. It’s very funny.

I think a lot of dogs are like that. It’s like their ashamed of going for a shite. I think some humans are this way too, I know I am. It’s funny how dogs have human chatacteristics

Well yeah, it’s private time for me. I would never want to be watched! When I’m dating someone I tell the guy I’m a girl and we don’t do that. Hell, I can’t even go to the bathroom in a public restroom.

Me neither, when I had voices they would comment on how dirty I was and made me feel ashamed. I’m free now tho! Ya my ex gf was the same as you, she would never even think about bringing up shites, too classy! So is my mum actually! I won’t go in a public bathroom either. I don’t mind taking a pee though, I don’t have to touch anything
