I got the report back re the new yDNA halogroup I’ve been assigned to.Ydna is passed down from father to son.
They suggest projects to join . Mine include 2 Jewish and 4 administrated by people with middle eastern names !!
I did a dna test. It showed I’m German, French, Scottish, and Norwegian

I did a dna test, I had to do it again cos the results were not clear he first time. Then I tried a second time. it still didn’t work. so they gave me a refund.

Unfortunately that happens sometimes. Was it a spit or swab test?

it was the spit test, I want to try again but if I do it with 23 and me they won’t give me a refund anymore.
What about ancestry dna?
its an option, but I was also sent this kit via my GP I thought they would send me results but they are only using for research …
I’ve had 3 DNA tests. The first was national geographic. I had haplo group H, the India marker. Also the most common in eastern and western Europe. That test said I was half German, half Mediterranean. The ancestry test said I was mostly Scottish, English and German. The my heritage DNA test said I was mostly English, Scandinavian and eastern Europe. I don’t know who is most accurate.
I am 95% Latvian and Lithuanian and 5% Finnish or western Russian. I did ancestry.com.
