It’s a refurbished Dell for $170.00…all of the bells and whistles. Windows 11. I’m pleased.

I’ve heard people complain that Windows 11 is harder to navigate, but so far I’m not having any issues or glitches.

I still like the big monitor screen and the keyboard. I find my phone just too scrunchy for my taste whenever I visit different websites.

This works for 90% of people who just need to get the basics done and it’s an excellent choice. There are the extreme use cases (people doing CAD work, video, and gamers) who need the latest and greatest, but most folks don’t.

This is why I prefer a console over PC

At least you can guarantee the hardware will work for about a decade before they change the system

Had a gaming PC before and nothing worse than buying a game and needing to upgrade

Except the one time I queued outside the game shop, got the latest GTA and when I got home put the disc in and got the 360’s ring of death

Also the price is much less

Shame most RTS games are on PC

My desktop is very slow now. Bought about 7 years ago. But I don’t use it for much, so I’m willing to live with it.

Currently running 4 external fans on top of the laptop to keep the heat down :crazy_face:

I recently undervolted it and adjusted the power limits it runs better now. I was thinking of repasting the cpu but then i gotta take a bit of stuff apart.

I love desktop PC’s. Even if I didn’t game or make music I’d still want one to browse the web and watch videos on. Browsing on phone is just not the same even if it more comfy.

I agree, I don’t see how some people prefer browsing the web on a phone compared to a PC, but to each their own.
