Got 1.5 hours of sleep with the cpap on

Criminey. I’m supposed to get at least 4 a night.

I could have sworn my heart was beating super fast when I woke up too.

I don’t know. I’m running out of time to qualify for insurance to pay for it, so I had to try tonight.

The people that sold it also sent a second mask to try , which arrived yesterday, so I almost had to try that as well.

I couldnt figure out how the new mask went on right at bedtime, so I just used the old one , though.

Oh well. I guess I put it back on when I get tired. Sigh.

Seems like that would be an uncomfortable way to sleep, especially if a side sleeper.

Maybe it’s just new and you will get used to it.

Maybe. But Im running out of time. I only have until the 24th of this month to have it read by a professional for insurance purposes. Which actually seems kind of unnecessary because it’s hooked up to wifi and it transmits usuge to insurance, who in turn tells the people who provided to me that IM not using it enough, which is why the company calls me every other day  .

Modern technology gets a big :-1: on cpap machines from me.

I can see that for sure, that they want to make sure it’s being used. Hopefully they will see you are using it, just not sleeping well. Seems like sleep issues with it would be a common occurrence. Hope you get used to it and get some sleep too!

I once was told to try wearing the mask around the house to get used to the mask. Seems like a good idea even though i never tried it while i was trying to use a cpap. I will be having a sleep study done here in the furture and i really should be wearing one as well because of my sleep apnea. Maybe you couod try that method of wearing the mask while in your home to try to get used to the mask?

I haven’t had the energy to do much more than throw up for the past twenty-four hours. Sorry to disappoint.
