Hello! I got home from work an hour ago, so I’m just relaxing on the porch while listening to music.
Later I’m gonna watch Netflix in bed and go to bed early.

I have had a nicely paced day at work so far, it hasn’t been overwhelming which is nice. I am supposed to hear back about the job offer specifics today but I don’t know when I will. Other people at work also had offers and it sounds like I am perhaps coming out of this better than the others with more experience.
I just had lunch which was rice with chicken, now I will check my email and hopefully there won’t be anything new ha.
I just called PAWS about maybe getting a cat or kitten. Thing is, I would make sure that they had what they need and I would go without. I think I may have someone who can feed and water them if I end up in the hospital.

Pretty good day. My son’s taking a nap so I’m getting some gaming in. Finally cleaned out my coffee pot so coffee.

@JustTrish I am more of a dog person but cats are OK. Get some catnip to spice your cats life up ha.

Lol! I love dogs, too… they’re harder to care for than cats.
For indoor dogs I agree, my family has dogs that they only really have to feed and water and the occasional vet visit and that is as far as maintenance goes for them, besides straw in their dog house.
Not many people have just outside dogs but our dogs have always lived really long lives and it’s outside so what’s not to love for a dog.

It rains a ton here in Tennessee during fall, winter, and spring. An old therapist told me that you can teach a dog to use a puppy pad, but that grosses me out… I don’t have the heart to leave a dog outside.

I think getting a cat is a great idea @JustTrish.
I would love to get a cat but my Dad doesn’t like cats.
We are considering getting a dog instead.

@JustTrish I think getting a cat would be very good for you. They are fun to watch and they can be extremely cuddly. Some aren’t cuddly but you could look for one that is. Having a pet is very therapeutic.

Good morning!!! Today I shower then go to thrift store to see if they have a DVD shelf, rack thing, then it’s movie time then after it is doing laundry
