I have trouble getting my shopping even though i stay close to shop, i’ve always hated shopping, but today i did some shopping and it felt good to get some nice things for a change and it wasnt such a chore, maybe it was the weather idk but yeah its the first shopping i got in about 2 months :slight_smile:

just wondering if you guys find it hard getting shopping/groceries? :slight_smile:

I got to a small discount shop for groceries, I can go on off hours when it is not to crowded and I go to Walmart at 7:30 am for other stuff

I struggle to shop on my own, even though I can get groceries just down the street I’m a bit of an agoraphobe so I’m scared out of my wits the whole time! It’s much easier with friends or family though, they are like an anchor.

I do experience a little bit of anxiety before going shopping. I find that listening to music helps.

My husband helps with grocery shopping. But I worry about his drinking and smoking. How long can he last like that. I rely on him for many things

I absolutely despise shopping. I only shop when there is something very specific that I need. Then, I get that and only that. And I usually do all of my shopping online, since I don’t drive and have no car.

I wish I could teach my ways to another sza friend I know. She’s more bipolar than sz.

Good for you. I’m glad you had a good experience. Yes I find it hard to go grocery shopping. The bigger and the more crowded it is the harder it is for me. I do better in smaller, quieter stores. :slight_smile:

@asgoodasitgets, @melmel7, Why don’t you shop for groceries online? It’s very easy, convenient and cheap. They charge you a small delivery fee, but it is so worth it. Or, you can go to the store to pick up your groceries, if you have a car. The store will have them all ready for you.

its a good idea but i stay just a short walk from the shops, i couldnt live with myself if i got them delivered, i think it would be nice to have someone to bag my items to pick up but its hard to know what i really need unless i am there :frowning: i am probably sounding like a very difficult person haha
