My mom always told me I would get hookworms if I walked barefoot thru puddles. But I think she was just trying to get me to keep my boots on.

I’ve always preferred barefoot since I was real young. I used to get in trouble for burying my shoes, so I didn’t have to wear them
that’s how I hurt my foot. barefoot

Used to like barefoot as a kid, but no longer unless in the sand. I have an arch issue from standing on ladders for too many years so it hurts to be barefoot now but i do miss it.

What I do love is the feel of brand new socks on my feet tho. If i was rich i would never wear old socks, just brand new and fluffy everytime i put them on.

I love being barefoot. :slight_smile: :purple_heart::tada:
Its lovely.
The country that i live in now allows me to do so all year around unlike Scandinavia with its seasons and long cold winters.

I want to get out n about more.
Be more active.
Go to beach. Walk barefoot. Start jogging on beach n go for dips etc.

My friend i had used to comment how pleased he was when he could feel his feet.
Perhaps he didnt feel his own feet a lot of the time so he really appreciated moments of feeling them and feeling them in a to him positive way.

Its pretty easy going in a way where i live because one is aloud in many shops bare foot.
Not restaurants or even most pubs but i think lots of shops n even some cafes allow it.
