Going back on weight loss medication. This time mounjaro

I’m so upset at the moment about my weight. I worry it will get me in the end….heart attack or stroke.

I’ve come off my quetiapine 50mg as of last night.

But in 3 weeks time I will restart the weight loss jabs. Just need to get paid first.

I’m anxious about it cos I’ve heard horror stories. But I have to do something. Don’t plan on ever coming off it this time around. So I guess I’ll be forking out £200 for the rest of my life.

Good luck with the Mounjaro @Qwerty
It’s a great drug
I’ve been on it for a couple of years now.

My blood test results always come out pristine on Mounjaro.

Thanks wave I was on wegovy before. But my cousin has lost a dramatic amount of weight on mounjaro so I’m going to give this one a go.

I’m 5 ft 7 and 99kg (218 pounds)

I just have to put my two cents in.
Weight drugs like Mounjaro (Zepbound) and Ozempic (Wegovy) are overall safe medications.
Most of the horror stories one here’s on the internet are either exaggerated or false.
The most common symptoms with these drugs are minor gi issues like constipation or diarrhea.
They are usually temporary

I’ve decided against it @Wave

I don’t see why I should have to pay £200 a month to counteract medications they have put me on.

So I’ve come off my quetiapine. Been off it 3 days and my appetite has already diminished significantly
